[/vc_column_text][vc_column_text]Born in 1983 into a family of physicians from Chișinău in the Republic of Moldova, Lyuba Foszto discovered her passion for painting at the sweet age of four, while bound to a hospital bed to recover from a severe concussion to the head. The young girl has grown into a woman, while color pencils and paper have made way to paint and canvas.
Living and working in Brasov, in the Transylvania region of Romania, Liuba is renowned for her symbolistic and abstract style, with a predilection for figurative lines and bright colors, and an emotionally charged storytelling. With the balanced combination of a pictorial approach and symbolism, Liuba lets chromatic tones and a strong sense of composition shape her paintings, while pure emotion is guiding her choice of colors and her uniquely powerful graphic symbolism.
